We are delighted to invite you to our evening award ceremony and gala dinner — a truly unforgettable occasion celebrating recognition, camaraderie, and inspiration, highlighting our shared commitment to safety excellence.
You’ll dine in the iconic Great Room, originally a grand ice rink where, in 1933, Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II is said to have learned to skate. This elegant setting offers the perfect backdrop to honor and celebrate outstanding achievements in health and safety.
The dress code for the evening is formal: evening wear, cocktail or evening dress, national dress, or uniform. Join us for a night of celebration, tradition, and elegance.
Timings
5:45 PM – 6:15 PM – Evening Award Winners check-in.
If you are receiving an evening award during the Gala Dinner, please register at the Buckingham Suite during this time.
6:30 PM – Drinks receptions begin
Please proceed to the designated reception area as indicated in your ticket confirmation email. Be sure to bring this email with you, as it will be checked by a member of the RoSPA team.
7:30 PM – Gala Banquet
11:00 PM – Live band and dancing
Join us for music, dancing, and continued celebrations.
1:00 AM – Carriages
Ceremony host: Lucy Porter
When you join us at the awards gala dinner, you’ll be in the expert and entertaining hands of our host, Lucy Porter.
Known for her sharp observational humour, Lucy Porter is a familiar face from TV shows including Live at the Apollo, Would I Lie to You and QI, as well as regular appearances on BBC Radio 4 favourites such as The News Quiz and The Now Show.
A highly in-demand stand-up comedian, Lucy is a veteran of the UK comedy circuit having performed 14 one-woman shows at the Edinburgh Festival and taken her comedy around the world, from Las Vegas to Cape Town.
